In April, a one-month full-time Training of Trainers programme was conducted in Wireless for Communities Main Centre in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. It was attended by 5 new trainees and 4 previous trainees, who were taught the theory and practical of deploying, configuring and maintaining a Wireless Network.Rigorous theoretical and field training was conducted with regular tests, tower setups, client visits and a final exam. 5 of the trainees successfully completed the training and have started handling independently Wireless Network Setups for various DEF projects across India. Other trainees are handling client operations, troubleshooting and other networking tasks in Guna itself.The training programme details are given below:

·         Fresh Wireless Setup in Bhim, Rajasthan

Mukesh Chaudhary and Mudassir Ansari successfully deployed a Wireless Network with two towers in Bhim, Rajasthan as part of their practical exam.

 

·         Restoring Setup in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh

Yogesh Yadav and Puneet Shakyawar worked to reinstate the Wireless network damaged in Shivpuri, M.P.

 

·         New Network Setup in Alwar, Rajasthan

Vijay Singh created a point to point connection in Chandauli village in Alwar, Rajasthan with a distance of 8 km between the two towers.
