The campaign with Association of Progressive Alliance was to address gender inequality as a result of patriarchy mindset in Rural India through digital awareness. The campaign was about giving digital insight so that the girls and women could use it to liberate themselves and opt for livelihood to support their families and consider themselves to be a driver of the rural economy. Women who have chosen to be Barefoot Wireless Engineer are a source of inspiration for the girls and women to use digital literacy to seek independence. It is one of the many possible livelihood options once one gets digitally enabled.
