Goma Devi Newar
My name is Ashok Kumar, and I live in Bangra Nizamat village, Muzaffarpur district, Bihar. Our big problem here is when floods come, we have to leave our homes and build new ones. People get sick a lot, especially with malaria. There’s no bank nearby, so we have to travel about 10km to get money, and cancer cases are increasing. To help, we’ve introduced digital skills and telemedicine. Many people didn’t know about them before, so we organized health camps and connected them with top doctors online, which has been very helpful. Through initiatives like PMGdisha, we’ve taught digital skills and helped with online tasks like applying for pensions and withdrawing money.
