My name is Sandhya Kumari, and I come from Hardi in Bokaro, Jharkhand. Presently, our community faces a myriad of challenges, ranging from the lack of computer education for children leading to difficulties in employment, to issues with pension withdrawal for elderly and disabled individuals. Obtaining and updating essential documents such as Aadhaar cards, identity proofs, PAN cards, and others pose significant hurdles. Moreover, there are challenges with birth and death certificates, online job applications, photocopying, banking transactions, mobile and net banking, government scheme awareness, online ticket booking, women’s mobile phone usage, land record verification, insurance claims, and accessing bank loans. To address these challenges, I am actively involved in digital empowerment initiatives. I aim to educate and empower our community to tackle these issues efficiently. My aspiration is to work as a BC Sakhi and establish a CSC center to assist the community in resolving any digital-related issues. Through various awareness campaigns, I am spreading knowledge about mobile apps, computer usage, net banking, PhonePe, and Google Pay to enhance financial literacy and access to digital services within our community.
