In our community of Sember Toli, we face various challenges such as network problems, lack of transportation to the town, and being deprived of government benefits due to the distance from the block office. This lack of connectivity hinders us from accessing timely information and availing ourselves of government schemes. Additionally, issues like electricity problems and limited digital literacy further compound our difficulties in benefiting from digital initiatives.
Previously, any work in our community required a physical visit or application. However, with the advent of online platforms, individuals can now save time and money by applying for various services online. Furthermore, by disseminating information about government schemes from the block office to the grassroots level, we ensure that everyone can avail themselves of these benefits. This has not only facilitated employment opportunities for rural residents but has also empowered our community.
Recognizing the challenges faced by our community members, we have initiated efforts to simplify tasks for everyone. Currently, we assist in tasks such as cash withdrawal, photocopying, downloading Aadhar cards, and mobile recharges. Previously, accessing government benefits required queuing up at the bank, but now, with Aadhar-enabled transactions, we can swiftly withdraw money. We also conduct door-to-door campaigns to inform residents about available government schemes and help them avail of these benefits.
