Digital Empowerment Foundation is in a process to organize three-day workshop on, ‘Wi-Fi Mesh Networking Technologies & Prospects’ on 6-8 August, 2012 in New Delhi, India.
The objective of the three-day workshop is to understand theoretical and practical understanding of wireless environment in India especially driven through the unlicensed band facilities as provisioned by the government.
The core aim of the workshop is to understand and explore cost effective technologies to propagate the wireless networks far and wide across the country for ensuring equality of access, digital equity and media access. The workshop will have learning from good and challenges practices in wireless experiences from India and outside.
The workshop will mark presence of wireless operators, wireless implementers, government representatives, user communities, support agencies, and policy advocators.
