Digital Empowerment Foundation, DEF

I am Anju Saikia from Bhurbandha. In our society, despite government schemes, women lack awareness, limiting their access to opportunities like handloom and handicrafts. We’ve initiated a food processing industry, employing over 15 women, aiming to empower them economically. Our focus is on holistic development, addressing challenges like financial constraints and inadequate facilities. Future plans involve digital literacy training for skill enhancement. By providing employment and resources, we aim to uplift our community, especially women, enabling them to break free from societal constraints and achieve independence.
