My village is named Bindanima, and unfortunately, we don’t have a Xerox machine here, which forces people to travel long distances for a tiny task like photocopying. We lack online facilities in our village, and for tasks like making Aadhar cards, people have to travel far. I am a nursing student and have also done various projects with the Digital Empowerment Foundation. All this gave me confidence and now I teach/train many students of my village on how to use digital tools, measure blood pressure and sugar levels, and even operate printers and Xerox machines online. This empowers them to earn some money while studying from home and become self-reliant. I have personally taught them about digital skills, and initiatives like Digital Didi and Digital Sarthak have been implemented in our community area.
