My name is Arpana Das, and I come from Bathan village in the Kamrup district of Assam. Witnessing the struggles of my community, I felt compelled to take action. Lack of essential information, financial hardships, and limited access to knowledge were pressing issues that needed to be addressed. Taking on the role of a leader, I actively engaged in various skill development initiatives and handloom training programs, aiming to equip the women in my community with the necessary tools for success. Through these endeavors, I not only attempt to impart valuable skills but also cultivate a sense of unity and collaboration among my fellow villagers. Together, we strive towards a brighter future, overcoming obstacles and embracing opportunities for growth. Together, we are laying the foundation for a prosperous and empowered community.
