For years, the residents of Noorsar village, Bikaner district, Rajasthan, faced immense challenges in accessing digital services and government schemes. With no Common Service Centre (CSC) or E-Mitra facility, villagers were forced to travel 10 to 20 kilometres just to apply for essential documents, pensions, or government benefits. Even after making the long journey, there was no certainty that the centre would be open, resulting in wasted time, money, and effort.
The establishment of the Soochna Adhikar Kendra in Noorsar has transformed lives, bringing convenience, accessibility, and empowerment to the community. Now, villagers no longer must endure lengthy and uncertain trips to avail themselves of digital services. For instance, Ulfat, a resident of Noorsar, was able to successfully apply for the Old Age Pension at the centre with ease, saving both time and effort.
The Soochna Adhikar Kendra has become more than just a service facility—it is a pillar of support for the community, ensuring that digital inclusion and government schemes are accessible to all. This initiative marks a significant step towards empowering rural communities, fostering self-reliance, and bridging the digital divide.
