Access to essential government services can often be a challenge for rural communities, especially for those who lack digital literacy or resources. Bridging this gap, a recent Digital Yojana Camp organized in Solapur, Maharashtra, demonstrated how targeted grassroots efforts can transform lives.

For many villagers, this initiative was more than just a camp, it was an opportunity to finally access their rights and entitlements with ease. One beneficiary shared how they were able to correct important documents and apply for relevant government schemes, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the local SoochnaPreneur and DEF for simplifying what once felt like a complex and distant process.

The camp focused on supporting local artisans and weavers by connecting them to crucial government and digital services. In just one day, 38 participants successfully submitted applications for various services. These included 27 Ayushman cards, enabling access to healthcare, and 6 e-Shram cards, helping individuals secure better livelihood opportunities. Additionally, several participants completed KYC updates and Udyam registrations, further strengthening their access to formal systems and benefits.

By bringing these services directly into the village, the need for long travel, multiple visits, and digital barriers was eliminated.
