DEF participates and delivers lecture on Mobile Masses at “The South Asian Mobile Conference 2012” in Colombo, Sri Lanka

DEF & ICTA had started mBillionth Award South Asia together having its Jury been organized in Columbo, Sri Lanka three years back in 2010-11. On the occasion of Jury, it was conceived that there would be one day conference on mobile, mobile innovation, telecom and mobile apps involving the South Asian countries.

This year, in continuation, ICTA had organised its third mobile conference called as “The South Asian Mobile Conference 2012” in which DEF had also participated and made a presentation on how mobile could be used for masses in the South Asian countries further DEF had also moderated the session on what is the future of mobile and how mobile at the moment which is mostly IVR and message driven and reach to masses using app and other formats of communication. The countries who participated are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and others.

Some of the leading speakers were Mr. Tomi Ahonen, Author, Consultant and Motivational Speaker, Hong Kong and Mr. Ralph Simon, CEO & Founder of Mobilium International, famous as ‘the father of ringtone’, consultant & promoter of Lady Gaga and one of the board of directors in Hungama Digital, Mumbai. Tomi and Ralph will be joining us on July 21, 2012 during mBillionth Award South Asia, which is scheduled to be held at Hotel Eros, New Delhi.
