DEF Organized Four ICT Training & Capacity Building Programmes for NGOs

Last week, DEF organized four eNGO workshops under its eNGOprogramme. The workshops focused on ICT and digital training programmes to grassroots organizations.

The first eNGO workshop took place in Patna (Bihar)on March 18th 2013, with a support from regional partner Sampan. The eNGO workshop was followed by eMSME training & capacity programme, which was held on March19th, 2013 at Muzaffarpur.

Over 50 NGOs and micro enterprises participated for eNGO&eMSMEprogrammes respectively.

With an objective to provide training on social media tools and the role of digital media tools, another workshop for media & administrative people was organized on March 20^th, 2013 at Motihari with a support from regional partner, Ahinsha Foundation and technical support from Jan Nirman Kendra and AlokSansthan.

On 21 March 2013, another eNGO workshop held on Birgunj, Nepal.  While four days technical programme held at Bettiah, Bihar from March 22nd to 25th 2013 with a support from regional partner, Ahinsha Foundation and technical support from Jan Nirman Kendra and AlokSansthan. The training programme covered:

1. Knowledge about email, Facebook, Twitter and RSS.
2. How to Create a Website
3. Operation for email, Facebook, Twitter, website and RSS.
4. Website searching and learning.
5. Media and Administration management by internet facility
