As a resident of Simaluguri village in Assam, I have witnessed several challenges facing our community. Limited access to education and job opportunities are major concerns, highlighting the need for educational and digital literacy improvements. To address these issues, I actively engage in community support initiatives. I assist individuals with form submissions and documentations for various schemes and provide guidance on legal matters. Additionally, I advocate for the empowerment of women, encouraging skill development and economic independence. While agriculture is the primary occupation, there’s a growing interest among women to explore alternative livelihoods. However, transportation limitations make it difficult to access educational resources in nearby cities. Therefore, I propose the establishment of a computer center within our village. Such a facility would cater to the educational needs of our community, especially students eager to learn computer skills. By providing local access to technology, we can enhance opportunities for learning and skill development, contributing to the overall progress of our village.
