I am Diganta Saikia from Bhurbandha, Morigaon. Our community faces challenges due to limited awareness of government and non-government schemes, particularly among women. Despite their potential in various fields like handloom, handicrafts, and agriculture, financial constraints and family obligations hinder their progress. Our village lacks essential facilities like fast internet, medical services, and employment opportunities, contributing to dependency, especially among women. As a social worker and artist, I strive to empower my community through education, skill development, and entrepreneurship. By harnessing local talent and advocating for change, I aim to create opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency in our community.
