There are many problems in our community, among them, the major ones include the lack of quality education and insufficient skills among the youth, leading to high unemployment rates. However, compared to the past, significant changes are being made. Today, every village in the country is being connected to the internet, and information about smartphones is being provided, especially to women who have always been left behind in every aspect, so they can experience changes in their lives and progress. In our current digital age, there is still a lack of significant development in digital skills among the youth in our community. Some problems also affect farmers, who lack knowledge of new technologies due to illiteracy and are deprived of assistance from the government. In some places, there is also a lack of sanitation, as well as a shortage of good medical facilities. These are just some of the issues still prevalent in our society, causing our village to lag behind. Currently, I am working with DEF, and I have a passion for sewing. In the future, I want to open my own boutique and become self-reliant. I enjoy creating new designs for clothes and want to learn this skill better by taking a fashion designing course. This way, I can open a good boutique and also employ others, especially women, to learn work skills so they can progress in their lives. I have recently received a center from DEF, where I provide digital services in my village. In addition to this, I also work on DEF’s projects, especially connecting entrepreneurial women to the internet to help them advance their businesses and improve their livelihoods. Through this center, we engage with our community and villages nearby, informing them about government schemes and ensuring they are not left behind in accessing these benefits.
