In our community, accessing Aadhaar services, such as applying for new Aadhaar cards or updating Aadhaar data, has always been a challenge. Residents often had to travel 50-60 kilometers away from the village to avail themselves of these essential services. Additionally, basic amenities like water wells, sanitation facilities, and educational infrastructure were severely lacking, further exacerbating the hardships faced by the villagers. Even accessing banking services was a struggle, with people having to trek several kilometers to reach the nearest bank. To address these pressing challenges, I took the initiative to establish a center right in our village. This center offers Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) services, enabling locals to access banking and cash withdrawal facilities without having to travel long distances. My primary focus is on serving various segments of our rural community, including farmers, laborers, elders, and women. Through my Information Service Center, I provide essential digital services such as photocopying and online application submissions, making it easier for people to access important documents and government schemes. Furthermore, I collaborate with organizations like the Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) to conduct digital education courses aimed at promoting digital literacy and awareness among the villagers. By bridging the gap between technology and our community, I hope to uplift the lives of my fellow villagers and pave the way for a brighter future.
