In my community, there is a significant lack of education. Additionally, we face challenges in accessing proper healthcare facilities and government services. The only government health center in our area often lacks nurses and is not consistently operational. When it comes to education, there is a severe shortage of teachers relative to the number of students, and there is no proper infrastructure to support learning. Many in our community, including myself, have observed the backwardness prevalent here and the struggles faced by the unemployed.
By forming youth and women’s groups, we are striving to become self-reliant. Previously, there was no sense of organization in the village, but now, by working together, people are saving money and raising their voices for their rights. Especially among women, who used to seldom leave their homes, there’s now a willingness to engage in activities like attending village meetings or opening bank accounts independently.
