In my community, I noticed a significant problem: widespread misinformation about the Covid vaccine. Many people were hesitant to get vaccinated due to rumors and fear mongering, while others were ignoring Covid safety protocols, believing the pandemic was over. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, I decided to take action. I engaged in DEF’s project focused on Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) to educate my community about the importance of vaccination and adherence to safety measures. I organized awareness campaigns and visited crowded areas like Anand Vihar, distributing masks and delivering informative speeches. I also identified another pressing issue: the lack of awareness about technology’s role in daily life. Many individuals in my community were unknowingly compromising their privacy by sharing sensitive information online. To address this, I conducted AI courses, enlightening people about the benefits of artificial intelligence and how to protect their privacy online.
