DEF organized two-day Masters’ training on programme on Intel Easy Steps on 28-29 June, 2012 with a support from Intel. 10 staff members from DEF have been trained on Intel Easy Step. The Intel Easy Steps program gives adult learners the opportunity to improve their social and economic self-sufficiency through digital literacy. The program materials use proven adult learning techniques to teach practical and relevant skills to people with little or no prior computer experience.
Through this training programme, DEF will closely work with local NGOs, and grassroots organisations towards transformative capacity building programme providing functional and need based resource support for key sections of the society who require literacy, functional literacy and life-skill literacy soft skills and knowledge.
