I am Mazharul Islam living in Itki, Ranchi district of Jharkhand. In our area, we face internet connectivity issues, which sometimes hinder women from completing tasks at centers, such as accessing online services for Yajna, banking, ticket bookings, and online work, which require a broadband connection. Additionally, disabled individuals need to travel to the district Sadar hospital for obtaining certificates, which can be expensive due to the lack of accessible transportation and proper hospital facilities.
To combat fake news, it is essential to educate people on how to identify and prevent the spread of misinformation. Additionally, the doorstep delivery scheme ensures that government services reach those who cannot visit centers. Money transfer and gas services, linking LPG connections to Aadhaar for subsidies, and providing digital literacy through centers are initiatives aimed at empowering the community.
We actively engage in disseminating information about government schemes such as old age pensions, the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and Yajna through our digital literacy center. We provide assistance in photo printing, money transactions, Aadhaar linking, and basic computer skills training. Moreover, we educate people on various topics such as using WhatsApp, sending messages, and utilizing mobile phones for accessing information.
