Digital Empowerment Foundation, DEF

In our community, there is a lack of facilities such as photocopy machines and digital amenities. Due to inconsistent electricity, we cannot use internet services. There are no proper roads, and education is lacking.

However, women have become empowered and have learned to use WhatsApp, Facebook, and create email IDs.

In our community and village, people rely on solar-powered water or a hand pump for water. The roads are rough and referred to as dirt paths, and houses are made of mud. There is a government school where children study, and food is cooked using wood.
