I am Rina Mai Begum from Jajori, Morigaon. Our community faces various challenges, including electricity shortages, lack of medical facilities, and unemployment. Many depend on labor work for sustenance, while infrastructure like roads and water access remains inadequate. Recognizing the need for change, I initiated a small food processing industry to empower women in our society. Currently, we have over 15 women involved in this venture. Additionally, our community specializes in producing unique textiles, contributing to the local economy. Through innovation and collaboration, we strive to address our community’s needs and create opportunities for growth and development.
