I am dealing with many issues in our community, such as a lack of education and employment opportunities, leading to heavy reliance on agriculture. Additionally, superstition still prevails, and girls receive less education compared to boys, often leading to early marriages and various health problems. There’s also a lack of skill development in our village, making people dependent on others. Access to healthcare and welfare services is limited, and youth lack necessary skills. Currently, I am working with DEF and also teaching young children in school. My income from these activities helps me sustain my livelihood, but I aspire to become self-reliant by starting my own business. I’ve been associated with DEF for about a year now, working on various projects. One of my projects, “Digital Didi,” involved educating women and girls about technology. Despite progress, many societal issues persist, and I aim to continue my efforts to address them.
