Goma Devi Newar
I’m Sarla Devi from Sanganer village, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Our community faces many problems like not enough schools, not enough money, and not enough jobs. We also don’t always have clean water, good roads, or reliable electricity. I’ve been working on these problems for twenty years now. I’ve seen tough times, but I started making changes in my own home. Currently, I work with Poetry Srivastava at P.U.C.L. Jaipur and help with digital projects. Even during the pandemic, I kept working to help people. I talk to the government about our problems and teach kids and women how to use computers.
