In my community, we lack a digital center, forcing people to travel long distances and miss out on benefits due to lack of information. Network issues exacerbate this problem. Basic amenities like education, healthcare, roads, water, electricity, employment, widow pensions, and housing are inadequate. Lack of access to information about government schemes from local authorities deprives us of benefits. Employment opportunities should be based on local merit, ensuring locals’ representation in schools, courts, private companies, and government positions. Local language rights should be recognized, and local activists honored. Local teachers, elected representatives, and officials in all departments can address community needs effectively. I’ve worked in a women’s group, raising awareness through cleanliness drives, distributing sanitary products, participating in social welfare, assisting everyone, facilitating group loans for floriculture, and empowering women economically through SHGs and WSHGs. I’ve encouraged women to work with enthusiasm, initiated campaigns against substance abuse, and participated in the Tejaswini Project, empowering adolescent girls and women socioeconomically.
