In our village of Gargaon, we encounter several issues such as network and electricity problems, as well as transportation challenges to and from the town. Due to these difficulties, accessing government benefits becomes challenging, and essential services do not reach our village promptly. As a result, unemployment becomes rampant, and people face inconvenience in withdrawing money due to the distant location of banks. Moreover, poor road conditions lead to increased transportation costs, adding to the woes of the residents.
Earlier, all tasks in our community were conducted offline, which resulted in inefficiencies and inconvenience due to the lack of transportation facilities. However, with the adoption of digital technology, we have been able to save time and money in commuting. Now, if there is a need to transfer money, we can easily do so using Google Pay or withdraw money through Aadhar-enabled transactions at ATMs. This saves us from spending an entire day queuing up at the bank, as tasks can now be completed swiftly online. We have opened our private center and are providing various services such as passport-sized photo printing, issuing E-Shram cards, making Ayushman cards, downloading Aadhar cards, conducting financial transactions, and providing assistance in phone-related tasks like recharge and depositing money. By offering these services locally, we have eliminated the need for residents to travel to the bank or block office. Additionally, we conduct door-to-door campaigns to inform people about government schemes and assist them in completing forms, ensuring that no one is deprived of government benefits.
