Among the beneficiaries of these centres, the youth have been the most affected groups, thus by acknowledging young people as agents of change in community development, Smartpur Hub Centres have adopted programs that empower, strengthen, and enhance their digital skills. Through these initiatives, youth have received the necessary knowledge and experience to overcome the challenges of the digital environment and achieve personal and professional growth.
Furthermore, the establishment of Smartpur Hub Centres has led to a significant change in gender dynamics within the society. Women have been showing a progressive uptake in education and digital empowerment. These centres have been instrumental in ensuring that women have an opportunity to access quality education and resources that would otherwise not have been available to them, thus helping to level the playing field in terms of gender and ensuring that women are not locked out of the digital world as has been the case in the past.
