The world is facing a threat of coronavirus with the World Health Organisation declaring it as a pandemic. But it does not change the fact that one can avoid being affected by following simple precautionary steps. Our Smartpur center co-ordinators across India ensured that there is no panic and spread of misinformation surrounding coronavirus. They conducted meetings at Primary Government schools and with community members to make people aware about coronavirus and its harms. Posters explaining its cause and effect with simple steps to follow have been displayed at every center.
Smartpur is a concept designed for a sampoorna gram (holistic village) or a digitally integrated ecosystem where people leverage digital tools to bring efficiency in daily lives, transparency in governance, economic prosperity for households and ease of access to various kinds of services and information.
Our Smartpur centers have been taking precautions considering how grave the situation is due to coronavirus pandemic. While they are taking necessary steps to ensure sanitization, simultaneously they have been creating awareness amongst the community members.
