Kamla Bai Saheriya, an elderly woman from Madhya Pradesh, was abandoned by children after her husband had passed away. Her only support was the widow pension that she received. Her suffering compounded when she stopped receiving even that paltry sum due to reasons unknown. Clueless and distraught, she did not know which door to knock for help. But with the constant help and support from the local SoochnaPreneur Sirnaam, Kamla now has received a new lease of life. “I am poor, old and uneducated. If not for his help, I would have starved to death,” she said.
One day when SoochnaPreneur Sirnaam Singh Raghuvanshi was on his field visit to the community to impart knowledge on various schemes, he met Kamla Bai. Once he gave a brief description of his work, Kamla felt positive and narrated her plight. On realising the depth of her problem, Sirnaam, without delay, took all her documents and went to the Panchayat Secretary. The Secretary then advised him to submit all the documents and begin the process from the scratch. The SoochnaPreneur diligently followed the official instructions and soon Kamla Bai started receiving her pension again.
