The people in our community are still far behind in the digital sector because they don’t believe in digital marketing. They use mobile phones primarily to listen to songs and watch movies, and when these aren’t available, it becomes a problem. Network connectivity issues also persist. I conducted training sessions on how we can utilize the digital platform to improve market linkage. I explained how to use mobile phones for online shopping and marketing, highlighting the benefits available on various sites.

I come from a small village on the border of Assam, where marketing is challenging due to the abundance of middlemen. I organized a meeting with the community to discuss how to remove these middlemen and establish direct market linkages. I informed them about the benefits of using online platforms and the opportunities available in the digital sector. People are now starting to embrace these new ways to improve their livelihoods.
