My name is Tamanna Parween, and I live in Narayanpur village, situated in the Bokaro district of Jharkhand. Upon recognizing the prevalent issues with network and Wi-Fi connectivity in our village, which were impeding access to digital services and information, I took the initiative to establish a center within our community. This center serves as a hub for providing various digital services and information to our fellow residents. One of the most significant impacts of this center has been on the elderly members of our village. Many of them lacked the means to access digital services due to mobility challenges and the distance they had to cover. With the center now conveniently accessible closer to their homes, they no longer have to endure the inconvenience of traveling long distances. Furthermore, I use the power of mobile phones to extend digital services to those unable to visit the center. Personally, visiting the homes of elderly community members, I provide them with the necessary digital assistance and services they require right at their doorsteps. By bridging the digital divide and bringing essential services closer to those in need, we have elevated the overall quality of life in our village.
