Empowering girl students from poor families via online scholarship
4th Community Radio Sammellan was held from 13th March 2014 to 15th March 2014, in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized the event to encourage, promote and empower Community Radio Stations across India. Digital Empowerment Foundation attended and interviewed 40 Community Radio stations from across India during the Sammellan. The interviews were meant to gain an insight into the problems faced by community radio stations in setting up and encouraging people to listen and associate with community radio stations in the country.
